Every girl deserves to be told she's beautiful.
I don't want to be one who sits back and watch girls put themselves down. The girl cursed with chronic acne, she’s beautiful and brave as anything. Same with the girl who has big bones running in her family. And the girl who no matter how hard she tries, can’t get rid of her “thunder thighs”.
Calling a girl beautiful or complimenting her in any way doesn’t have to mean you like her or you’re a huge flirt, it makes you a decent person.
Everyone needs that reassurance at time. Make it genuine and you might just be making someone’s day.
You don’t have to like a girl’s style or hair or agree on the same things for her to be beautiful. Some girls never hear those words, or any of the sort, and yes, that can cause them to act out. So don’t always take a girls insults to mean she’s just a cow, she’s more than likely putting on her tough guy mask and putting people down because that’s all she knows.
Don’t let what anyone says make you believe you’re anything but beautiful. It’s easier said than done for anyone. But remind yourself enough, remind your best friend enough and it’ll get through.
